Micro technology spins it significantly finer than standard modal and cotton, with a fluid weight that drapes beautifully. The production process is based on a highly resource-efficient production technology. The fibres are produced via a highly resource-efficient, eco-responsible closed-loop process that recycles water and reuses over 99% of its solvents.
The responsible production process of the fibers uses at least 50% less water and emits at least 50% less CO2 compared to generic modal fibers, therefore saving resources for our future generations.
Because it originates in nature, the fibre is certified fully biodegradable and compostable, ensuring it can eventually revert back to the earth.

Care Guidelines For Luminé Garments
Wash
Machine wash on a delicate cycle (up to 40°C) inside a laundry bag, using a mild detergent.
Avoid the Softener and Bleach
Fabric softeners coat natural fibers in a thin film, muting their breathability, moisture-absorption and silky glow. Our MicroModal is inherently soft without it. Bleach severely damages the lace and fibres.
Dry
Lay flat or hang to dry. Please skip the tumble dryer—heat degrades the delicate lace and fabric integrity over time.
Iron
Rarely necessary, as the fabric releases wrinkles naturally. If desired, iron on low heat, inside out, avoiding the lace.
