The Poetry of Rest and Purposeful Living

Some of my earliest memories are of sitting beside my grandmother as she worked at her Singer sewing machine, and of watching my own mother sew. Surrounded from a young age by a love for art, design, and textiles, I learned firsthand how a gorgeous silhouette, the right color, delicate lace, and fine natural fabrics can transform our mood, confidence and energy in a powerful way.

That passion for art, design and beauty remained a constant in my life. Yet, while navigating a fast-paced corporate career, motherhood, and the beautiful complexities of daily life, I fell into a pattern common to so many driven women: treating my own sleep and rest as negotiable in a world that never stops moving.

An unexpected autoimmune diagnosis became my wake-up call—a moment that completely redefined how I view well-being. While studying holistic health and nutrition during my recovery, I realised how deeply our well-being is shaped by sleep quality, the self-care we allow ourselves, and the hidden toxins that surround us, including those in the clothes we wear. These elements are the essential foundation of our clarity, energy and joy.
